Our latest footwear design, which we proudly showcased at SIMAC Tanning Tech, is the result of a collaborative effort, produced by Treddy using cutting-edge laser sintering technology and BASF’s high-performance TPU.
The design embraces both structural and organic elements, creating a harmonious balance.
The overall silhouette is developed using AI and is parametrically evolved to reflect a fluid, yet geometrical, stochastic yet structural feel. The parametrically designed porous pattern provides breathability and comfort, maintaining a lightweight and airy aesthetic.
The project is more than a speculative design experiment – it’s a glimpse into the future of 3D-printed footwear production.
By utilizing the latest computational design and additive manufacturing techniques, we explore new methods of building shoes that are not only customizable, but also sustainable, using innovative manufacturing processes shaping the new landscape of product creation.
